Welcome! We are glad you've chosen to worship with us here at Christ Episcopal Church.
At Christ Episcopal, we follow the Episcopal Liturgy found in the Book of Common Prayer. Bulletins are provided each Sunday with the readings, music and order of service.
We offer many different ways to worship and fellowship, including Sunday services, Discipleship Groups, Book Clubs and our various Ministries. Currently, our Sunday Services include:
8:00 AM Indoor Worship, Masks are Required
9:00 AM Outdoor Worship, Masks are Optional
10:30 AM Indoor Worship, Masks are Required, Reservations are Required, and the service will be live streamed.
All three of our services are Eucharistic services. Intinction is returning if you wish to receive wine. Capacity will be limited for indoor worship so for our 10:30 AM service, reservations will be required. Reservations will open at 10:45 a.m. on Sundays for the following Sunday’s service.
Reservations are made by households. When you make your reservation, please sign up for the size of your household. If the reservations for your household size are booked, please reserve under the next household size up.
The 10:30 service will continue to be live-streamed for those who are unable to join us in person due to health, travel, or seating capacity.
Please take a minute to review our Revised Mask Policy:
When we gather at Christ Episcopal Church and it is likely that some of our members who are present are ineligible for vaccination for COVID-19, (for example, during indoor worship or children’s Sunday school) masks will be worn by all for the sake of, and in solidarity with, those whose health is at risk.
Exceptions during indoor worship may include readers when reading, preachers when preaching, choir when singing and musicians when playing.
Masks are not required during outdoor worship. Those who are not yet vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear a mask. Physical distancing remains in effect.
When all of those gathered are fully vaccinated, especially in small group settings: fellowship/discipleship groups and committee meetings, masks are not required.
At the beginning of each small group meeting, a check-in will be made to see if anyone wishes to keep masks on. If so, all will wear a mask. Please have a mask on-hand when on the church campus for such occasions.
This policy will be reviewed in September.
